Comelio is a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner and has proven the following competencies through projects and exams:
Comelio employees also hold the following certifications from Microsoft and other companies or organizations:
Comelio also has partnerships with Oracle, Sun und Dell.
Since 2005, Comelio, Inc. has successfully completed at least one project per year in the field of research and development.
These projects help build and maintain partnerships with clients and academic bodies.
They also enable Comelio employees to develop, discover and try out new working methods and ways of thinking,
as well as judging the value of applying these methods in clients' projects.
The questions posed in the projects are related to areas such as the application of semantic technologies or general responses to branch-specific questions with the help of reference architectures or expert systems as well as new general practices in software technology.
Academic partners include the Hochschule für Philosophie in München (Munich School of Philosophy), Bergische Universitüt Wuppertal (University of Wuppertal), the Fachhochschule Gieüen-Friedberg (University of Applied Sciences Giessen-Friedberg) and the Technische Universitüt Berlin (Technical University of Berlin).
Results are published in the form of books and magazine/journal articles and the results of projects about pure software topics are provided in the form of freely available prototypes. Research results are also often entered into technology competitions and presented at academic conferences; an example being a branch-specific expert system which was a winning project at the Zukunftswettbewerb Ruhrgebiet technology competition.
Since 2002, Comelio employees have had books and articles on subjects from their field of expertise published in journals
and by IT publishing houses. Since 2007 they have been able to have their work published
by the Verlag Comelio Medien publishing house and at the same time explore and communicate information about
interesting topics in an appropriate form. These publications are then available in bookshops across Germany,
Austria and Switzerland, as well as on the internet. Shorter articles are published in
the Comelio blog and in smaller, electronic formats.
Books and articles for the Comelio blog provide clients with an insight into the everyday work of developers and consultants. For the authors themselves, it gives them the opportunity and freedom to develop and maintain cross-departmental co-operation, which can be implemented again in projects to bring about even more successful results.
